Make it so the app reccordes in more FPS! It laggs a lot
I cant get the app to select an area to record…it always seems to record the lower left quadrant of the screen, regardless of what settings I choose. Every attempt to export captures has resulted in the app crashing. Horrible app.
If you have QuickTime installed on your computer and I think thats default anyways and everyone with a Mac does. Welll anyways just click that app. Go to file and click screen recording. There you go. Free and better than this app. Your welcome.
Purchased after a short trial. Should have checked it more carefully. 1) The capture quality is way awful, looks like max headroom from the early 80s (yes it is really that bad). 2) you have to download another app to get sound out of your system (really!!?). That aside, the screen resolution it allows you to capture at is pretty limited/ It does have a "customize" option, but when clicked it does nothing. Dont waste your money here folks…. Or they the free version a little longer and check out its settings.
This Thing Wont Even Launch!!!
I dont want to nag but I just learned how to use face cam and that made me feel goo then I bought this app in the hopes the frame rate had improved since the last update but it didnt now I just used 10 dollars and My channel caalled kadacox will have to have 1fps if I want to do computer games
How do I start it up? Please help someone :(
This app does not record the sound from the screen without a separate and annoying plugin. even after installing the plugin it didn’t work. When recording full screen at 30 fps the recording is bad resolution and is choppy! Don’t waste $9.99 on this app!
Using OS X 10.6.8 I cant find a way to turn the stupid app on. no record button or interface even though the app is running. There needs to be a way to demand a refund.
This app worked for 4 or 5 times and then it hasn’t worked since, I restarted my machine, played with a variety of options and frankly I shouldn’t have to do that to get the tool to work. It has crashed about 5 time on top of that, moving on to another one, hopefull this one works, wish I could get my money back.
All i get for a screen capture is a gray screen! I can record the sound but no visuals. not wat I wanted for sure.
This application does not work what so ever on 10.10
There are way too many problems with this app. First off, The audio doesn’t match video. its always early. second, after i’m done recording, the video randomly freezes. Please fix!!!!
I would have selected zero stars if that were an option. This application does not work. NO ability to capture audio. NO reply from tech support. Complete watef of $9.99.
When I had the lite version and Mavericks this app worked perfectly. Of course many others probably encountered the same “need audio plug in” warning after upgrading to Yosemite as I did. You know, the one that you go and download/install then restart and the app still needs you to download the plug in. It works minimally, the primary uses I had for it are no longer working. Though one issue I’ve had that’s directly app related is any time I start up the app it switches the audio output of my MacBook and I have no sound until I go through system preferences. Mind you if I stop the app, make the adjustment then start the app again I need to go back in and reselect the audio output again.
This is complicated. After upgrading to 10.10 Yosemite I could not get my screen captures to work with tho OLD iMovie version. It was a frustrating and painful experience but I eventually got everyothing to work. Here’s what I did. FIRST, be aware that not all the app developers updated their apps to work with Yosemite, if they didn’t then you will have problems if you try to use the OLD app on the OLD iMovie on NEW Yosemite. When I tried this App (SCREEN CAPTURE PRO 2.4.0.) it worked perfectly!! HALLELUJAH!!!! When I tried using any of my OLD videos on the OLD iMovie on te NEW Yosemite, even that was troublesome. ScanSnap would not work on any of the OLD videos either, but it DID work on THIS app as it always did. (I told you it was complicated.) The problem is NOT the old iMovie, it still works almost as it always did. Just keep trying and you’ll get it to work. You might want to take a chill-pill first as it can be frustrating. Good luck! :) :) I almost forgot, it seems that the only way to find the PRO version of 2.4.0 is in the box on the right side of the screen where it shows other apps by the same developer BONITEN. The icons for these are all very similar, make sure you get the one by Boniten, that’s the one that worked for me. R. 5/26/15 I am puzzled that so many are having trouble with this app. I had some difficulty when switching to Yosemite, but now it works perfectly; it’s flawless, and I use it almost every day to capture instuctional videos and music. I can import them into iTunes too. Curley.
The software automatically changes the sound output on the iMac from internal speakers to one of my Apple TVs. Consequently, the software does not record sound and it screws up the sound output of the computer. And secondly, it has a horrible interface which is not instructive at ALL. I want a refund.
